Stargazing by Jen Wang
Stargazing includes Christine, who follows her parents’ strict rules without a complaint, and her new neighbor, Moon, who quickly becomes her best friend; other than growing up in the same suburb, the two have nothing in common! Christine soon begins to follow Moon’s lead to become who she truly wants to be, hoping that her parents will not find out. Unfortunately, Moon suddenly falls ill, and Christine doesn’t know how to react. Stargazing is a fairly quickly read graphic novel that is wonderful for all ages to enjoy.
