Fast fact:

The Whatcom County Library System currently owns just one library facility – our administrative services center which also houses Northwest Drive Library Express (for holds pickup and library returns only). Communities provide and maintain the spaces that house our libraries, while WCLS provides the library materials, staff, and technology. In Blaine, Everson, Ferndale, Lynden, and Sumas, city governments are the building owners. Friends of the Library groups own and maintain the Deming, Lummi Island and North Fork Library locations. The Point Roberts Park & Recreation Department owns the Point Roberts Library building, and the Sudden Valley Community Association owns the Adult Center that temporarily houses the South Whatcom Library.
