As part of National Voter Registration Day, Whatcom County Library System is partnering with the League of Women Voters to host voter registration events from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 at the Deming, Everson, North Fork (Kendall) and South Whatcom (Sudden Valley) libraries. Volunteers with Friends of the Library groups will also support the events.
First celebrated in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan holiday that involves thousands of organizations and volunteers working together to ensure their family, friends, and neighbors are registered to vote and ready to cast a ballot.
