    Public Services Assistant (Youth Focus) - South Whatcom Library Print Email

    The Whatcom County Library System is accepting applications for a part-time Public Services Assistant (PSA) - Youth Focus position at the South Whatcom Library. The PSA assists patrons at library branches by providing a high level of customer service in a complete range of patron services and promotes a welcoming, informative, and educational environment for youth and teens at the library.  Requires Associates Degree and one year relevant experience or equivalent combination, and the ability to speak and understand English. Experience working with youth and teens, and interest and knowledge of children’s literature and books written for teens strongly preferred. 24 regularly scheduled weekly hours plus substitute hours. $14.90 per hour plus excellent benefits. Apply by Saturday, December 6th. Click on the "read more" link for full posting and application instructions.

    Accounting Assistant Print Email

    The Whatcom County Library System is accepting applications for a part-time Accounting Assistant position. The Accounting Assistant counts money received from branches and other parties, verifies according to established procedures and prepares and makes deposits; assists with clerical tasks as needed; may perform other duties as assigned. Requires High School Diploma and one year relevant experience or equivalent combination.  Must be bondable.  16-18 regularly scheduled weekly hours during regular business hours. $12.69 per hour. Apply by Friday, December 5th.
