Hi! I love that stories help me understand others and that I get to share stories with YOU!

What did you like to read when you were young?

When I was young, I loved to read everything, and I was always reading. I carried a book everywhere with me and took any chance I had to read it. It still feels wrong to go somewhere without a book, but sometimes I listen to a book on Libby with my phone. I wish I had the time to read all day long like I did when I was younger, but I sure enjoyed it while I could. One author I read a lot as a young person was Judy Blume. I may not have read every book she wrote, but it comes close!

What’s the first book you remember?

The first book I remember checking out from my school library that changed the trajectory of my reading was A Wrinkle in Time. I had never read anything like that before and I discovered my love for the fantasy genre at this time. I went on to read an endless amount of fantasy novels (and some sci-fi) throughout junior high and high school.

Where is your favorite spot to read?

My favorite spot to read is at the beach, under a sunshade, with the sound of the waves in the background and a beautiful view whenever I lift my eyes from the page.
