Note about Donating Books: We are not actively seeking donated books and audiovisual materials at this time. Community members who have questions about donating items should contact the branch manager at their library.

WHAT ARE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY?

There are many ways you can support your local library! Friends of the Library groups at each of our library branches provide vital volunteer and financial support to WCLS libraries.

Friends advocate for library services and raise funds for library projects that the WCLS budget doesn’t cover (like special furnishings and programs). Friends groups have been critical to improving library facilities. Deming Library and Island Library are owned and maintained by their local Friends of the Library groups.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Every library has a Friends of the Library group, and Friends groups are always looking for new members! Contact your local library manager to learn about meeting times and your local Friends group.

All WCLS Friends groups are registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits and welcome your contributions.
