NOTES FOR STAFF
This is the chat interface our patrons will see. It will be in a page with other information on it.
Patrons must first either enter their name or just click on Start Chat. That will start an alert beep or light going off on your page if you are signed in.
Patrons won’t be able to type a question until a staff member picks up the chat.
If a question isn’t answered in 30 seconds the patron will get a canned notice and an option to submit a question through our Ask the Library form. Staff can still pick up the chat at this time.
