The Whatcom County Library System is accepting applications for a full-time Adult Programming Coordinator position at the Administrative Service Center. *This job opportunity does not represent a new position, but rather a replacement position at WCLS.* The Adult Programming Coordinator leads system-wide activities for adult program planning, including high profile community-wide events, and supports other managers and staff involved in program planning and delivery; works to build connections with other community organizations where missions overlap; communicates directly with the public regarding program promotion, requests, and volunteer support. Works directly with Deputy Director, Branch Managers, Community Relations, and WCLS leadership; oversees the programming budget; performs other duties as assigned. Requires bachelor’s degree and three (3) or more years relevant coordination and program development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is compensated at Pay Level 18 on WCLS Salary Structure. Starting range in Pay Level 18 is $33.1221-$35.1094 per hour depending on experience. Minimum wage in Pay level 18 is $33.1221 per hour- maximum wage in Pay Level 18 is $46.3708 per hour. Additional $0.30 per hour Bilingual Pay premium available for employees who pass a language assessment in ASL, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, or Ukrainian.
