WCLS

WCLS is seeking Talk Time Leader volunteers for the Everson and North Fork Libraries.  Talk Time Leader volunteers assist adults learning English as a second language, improving their conversational English skills in an informal small group setting.

Talk Time Leader volunteers:

• Gain teaching experience
• Gain experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Learn about other cultures and language groups
• Meet a variety of interesting people
• Make a valuable contribution to our community
• Need to be fluent in English

Training in ESL teaching techniques is helpful but not required. A training workshop is provided.  For more information and contact information see the volunteer position description.
