Hippos Go Berserk! Count up as the hippos gather and then down as they disperse! Highly addictive. Growing up, I made my dad read this one so many times that I can still recite most of it today. Next time you see me in the library I just might recite it for you.

Those Darn Squirrels! Those Darn Squirrels won’t stop eating from the birdfeeders! No matter how hard Old Man Fookwire tries, those DARN squirrels find a way to steal his food and foil his plans. Opportunities to participate in a repeating refrain make this book a fun lap read.
The North Star I read this book frequently when I lose sight of what’s important. It always brings me back to a place of quiet reflection and wonder. It is quite a special little story.
Stuck After Floyd’s kite gets stuck in a tree, he has a few brilliant ideas about how to get it back. A colorful and surprising story, the first time I read it, I was positively guffawing.
