Kids Summer Reading

Summer reading is all kinds of easy!

Pick up your BINGO cards with different kinds of books in each square. They’re at any WCLS or BPL location or  you can download one here.

  1. Set your summer goal. You decide how many you want to read. Read one. Read five in a row. Read 13. Read all 25. Divide the squares in half and read 50. It’s all up to you.
  2. Once you’ve met your goal, come in to your local library (between June 1 and August 31) and choose a book. For keeps.
  3. That’s it.

We hope you’ll visit the library to talk to us about what you’re reading. We’re happy to make suggestions and would love it if you could recommend things to us, too.

We also have lots of programs for kids of all ages this summer. Visit us our event calendar for complete listings.
