Whatcomics-We Want Your Art

During the month of October we celebrate the comic books we love and recognize that there is a lot of artistic and storytelling talent in our midst!

We are collecting art from middle and high school students until Oct. 31st. Some entries will be selected for publication in our Whatcomics Book-watch for it in January 2010.

The art that teens contribute during October brightens up our libraries all year long. We have teen designed library cards, posters, and bus passes.

Many of the submissions are just wonderful doodles-if stick figures are your thing we want to see them.

At least 10 submissions will be selected to be part of the Whatcomics book.

Ask at your local library for an entry form.

Deming Teen Wins Ipod Nano!
