  • Where will my donation go? Donations directly support the Whatcom County Library System by funding grants to WCLS libraries and Friends of the Library groups for programs and special projects.  You can request that your donation help a particular branch library, Friends group, or library service during the PayPal donation process.  The Foundation is a board of volunteers, and your entire donation is used for it's intended purpose.  Paypal deducts 2.9% + $0.30 of every online donation.

 

  • Is my donation tax deductible? Yes! Your donations are tax deductible. The Whatcom County Library Foundation (WCLF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Corporation.  All donations to WCLF are tax deductible. WCLF Board Members volunteer their time and energy to the Foundation.  You can find WCLF on GuideStar.
