The Whatcom County Library System is proud to offer eligible employees a competitive benefit package.

All employees are eligible for our Employee Assistance Program, supplemental benefits through Colonial Life, and a Deferred Compensation Program.

Employees working an average of 70 or more hours per calendar month are eligible for the Public Employees Retirement System plan.

Employees working a regular schedule of 20 or more hours per week are eligible for paid holidays, vacation leave and sick leave. WCLS also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance.
