New!  Whatcom County Library Board Vacancy 
Whatcom County residents are encouraged to apply for a vacancy on the Board of Trustees of the Whatcom County Library System (WCLS). Appointment begins January 1, 2010 and is for a five year term. To apply, fill out an application form; applications are due by October 30th.  Application forms are also available at all WCLS branch libraries, WCLS Administrative and Processing Center (384-3150) or by contacting the County Courthouse (676-6717). The appointment of Library Board Trustees is the responsibility of the Whatcom County Executive and County Council. See the Library Trustee Job Description for an outline of the position and responsibilities.  If you have further questions, email Joan Airoldi, Library Director or call 384-3150.

Meeting Schedules
Normally, the Board meets at 9:00 a.m. of every third Tuesday of the month.
Changes to the schedule become available at least one week in advance.
