Listen up, foodie fans - you may be familiar with the funky term "dogoir" that refers to the recent abundance of memoirs about people's relationships with their dogs. So it's natural to coin a new term - chefoir - to reflect the popularity of memoirs about well-known chefs and what really goes on "on the line." Yes, Chef, the memoir by Marcus Samuelsson, is only the most recent paean to food and family; Samuelsson's love of food was born early helping his adoptive Swedish grandmother cook family meals on weekends.
