Free Poetry Workshop: Finding Your Poetic Voice Print E-mail

Join Lynden resident, Jeff Schiller in this free interactive class for those who want to explore writing poetry.  For ages 18 years and up.

Meet the Author - Martin Burwash Print E-mail

Martin Burwash will read from his book Vis Major: Railroad Men, an Act of God--White Death at Wellington and answer questions about the “White Death” avalanche disaster which occurred 100 years ago on March 1, 1910.

Have a Heart Food Drive Print E-mail

Contribute nonperishable food items at the Lynden Library all through February and March to benefit Lynden’s Food Bank, Project Hope.  For information call the library at 354-4883.

 

 
Homeschool Research Class for Teens Print E-mail

Bring a topic to the Lynden Public Library and learn how to use the best online resources the library has to offer. 
One hour will be for demonstration—the second for teens to do research on a topic with support from a librarian.

Baby and Me Print E-mail

Join us for socializing, baby play time, singing and rhymes. Parent Educator Pam Ames will be discussing topics such as nighttime parenting, first foods and more!  Refreshments and free board books while supplies last.

Thursdays through April 29th
2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Come for the whole time or drop in when it works for you.  Funded by the Whatcom County Library Foundation and Peoples Bank.
