Sample a variety of single origin and unique, original blends of international gourmet coffees while learning about origins and the processes for producing, roasting, blending and brewing specialty coffee. Snacks provided.  Free, everyone welcome. 

Packages of some of the world-best coffees will be available for purchase, including locally created, unique blends.  Proceeds from their sale will benefit FOIL's maintenance of the library building and grounds.

Celebrate Poetry Month in April at Island Library:  Share your thoughts in a Haiku about Spring, the Island, Libraries or anything else that comes to mind on the Poetry Wall at Lummi Island Library in the month of April. The Haiku is a Japanese form of non-rhymed verse with 5 syllables in the 1st sentence, 7 in the second, and 5 again in the last sentence. And yes, we'll also be happy to put your limericks on The Wall.  Island Library.
